Smart Grid Model for Power Engineering
Prof. Ing. Bauschke is the head of the Smart Grid Model laboratory which occupies three rooms at the higher education institution. His reasons for choosing a Lucas-Nülle system were:
The Smart Grid System from Lucas-Nülle is not a PC-based simulation!
• The Smart Grid Model features real machines
• Actual grid values (400V, 1A)
• Protection devices, measurement and telecontrol technology from current series production
• Long lines are formed by means of an equivalent circuit
From now on, students will be able to put the theoretical knowledge they have gained into practice at individual workplaces. The emphasis here is not only on the individual components but also on the necessary information technology and how the various elements interact as a system. The model also facilitates the simulation of smart energy use scenarios.
Rather than following a "set route", the experiments reflect "real life" in the grid.
