Area Sales Manager at Lucas-Nuelle Inc., North-East Coast between North Carolina and Hampshire, with perspective of Co-MD

Technical background:  

B.Sc. / M.Sc. (Electrical Engineering/Electronics) or equivalent

You could be the right candidate for us if you are interested in local marketing and sales of high-tech training and educational systems in the US. Your contacts are situated in direct sales, e.g. the Heads of Vocational Schools, Deans of Universities, Military Academies, Heads of Industrial Training Centres and high-ranking members of Education Departments in the specific states in question, including national consultants. In addition to this, you will also face the traditional challenges of trying to expand and develop our professional dealer outlets and sales networks.

As a sales-loving technical driven person with considerable experience in the investment goods sector, and with a high affinity for the US territory, you will receive a careful initial training for this assignment at our HQ in Kerpen, Germany. The job requires the willingness to live close to an airport on the East Coast of the US and to travel intensively there.

Your job as an all-rounder will entail both technical as well as commercial competence: professional management of dealers, product presentations and servicing end customers, trade shows, project planning, calculating and tendering offers, including the technical end-of-order processing, up to and including customer instruction in the use of our training systems. Furthermore, you should be in a position to communicate effectively and diplomatically with high-ranking decision-makers and budget holders. Experience in the area of technical training, industry driven, is an advantage. Furthermore, you will develop US specific concepts to expand the business with your HQ in Williamsburg, Virginia and our German support. You will take on a leading role with managing skills and "Vice President" is your target within 3 years.

German or Spanish skills - both written and spoken - would be nice. Perfect English communication skills is daily habit.  Job location East Coast – willing to relocate.
